AMS SPORTS

    Final Forms is now accepting registration for Quarter 2 sports which include cheerleading, girls volleyball and boys basketball.
    Please make sure an Early Winter Sport is selected and the forms section is updated in Final Forms by October 27th in order to begin the clearance procedure.

    Help support the AMS PTA and purchase a delicious Boo Bag! It can be delivered to your favorite student or faculty member on October 31.

HALLOWEEN

    AMS will permit students to wear costumes to school on Friday, October 31st. As Halloween approaches, please discuss the following safety rules with your child:
    *No masks or props
    *No shaving cream, silly string, paintballs, spray paint, or eggs
    *No "revealing" or inappropriate costumes
    Students who behave in an inappropriate manner, or violate any or the above, will be subject to disciplinary action and jeopardize the right to wear a costume next year.

GRADE 6 FALL DANCE

    On Friday, November 7th, AMS will host the 6th grade Fall Dance. For your convenience, tickets are available via the PTA store or you can click HERE to purchase your child's dance ticket. The dance will be held in the AMS cafeteria from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. All students MUST present their AMS ID card for admission to the dance. For the safety of our students, we ask that you enter the building to pick up your child. Thank you.

HOMEWORK HELP

    SHSW Honor Society is offering Homework Help this year to any students in need. They will meet on Thursdays, after school, from 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm in the AMS library. All interested students should sign up in the Counseling Center.

AFTER SCHOOL LIBRARY

    After school library is held Tuesday through Thursday ONLY, until 3:45 pm. Students can be picked up or take the 4:10 pm late bus home.

WALKER & BUS PASSES

    If students wish to go home on a bus with another student, A NOTE IS REQUIRED FOR BOTH STUDENTS INVOLVED. If your child needs to walk home a note is required. Please have all notes brought to the Main office.
    If your child will be a PERMANENT WALKER - please send a note to express permission to walk home during the 2025-2026 school year. It must be signed by a parent.
