The Smithtown Mechanical Bulls (Robotics Team 810) will host their first general meeting on Thursday, September 17th.
This program gives students direct experience with mechanical design, coding, CAD, and public speaking. No prior experience is required. Student leaders and advisors teach new members every step of the process.

Please register for visits through your SchooLinks account. You must let your teacher know in advance that you will be attending a visit and sign the attendance sheet upon entering the visit to be excused.
Attention Seniors: The University of Virginia offers the Jefferson Scholarship to students who excel academically and demonstrate exceptional potential in the areas of leadership, scholarship and engaged citizenship. If you are a first generation college-bound student and meet the criteria for the Jefferson Scholarship, UVA offers the Walentas Scholarship as well. For nomination consideration, come to the Counseling Center by Thursday, October 15th.
Attention Seniors: Indiana University offers the Wells Scholarship Program for graduating seniors with outstanding academic achievement and significant involvement in extracurricular activities. For nomination consideration, come to Guidance by Wednesday, September 30th. If you would like your SAT or ACT scores considered, please bring a copy of your score report along with your request for nomination.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors: College Representatives will be here to meet with students beginning Wednesday, September 16th. You must advise your teacher you will be attending a Rep Visit and sign the college visit attendance sheet in order to be excused from class. The meetings will take place in the Guidance Office Conference Room unless otherwise announced. To view the schedule and sign up for a visit through your SchooLinks account go to: "Engage" then "Events" and click on the visit you would like to attend. Select "Register for this Event" to register and the visit will then appear at the top of your Event list. You can unregister for this event should you later decide you are unable to attend. While registration is not required it is highly recommended. Be sure to check SchooLinks often to view the most up to date schedule. A weekly schedule of visits will also be posted on the Daily Bulletin section of the school website.
