Please register for visits through your SchooLinks account. You must let your teacher know in advance that you will be attending a visit and sign the attendance sheet upon entering the visit to be excused.
Attention all Juniors and Seniors: College Representatives will be here to meet with students beginning Wednesday, September 16th. You must advise your teacher you will be attending a Rep Visit and sign the college visit attendance sheet in order to be excused from class. The meetings will take place in the Guidance Office Conference Room unless otherwise announced. To view the schedule and sign up for a visit through your SchooLinks account go to: "Engage" then "Events" and click on the visit you would like to attend. Select "Register for this Event" to register and the visit will then appear at the top of your Event list. You can unregister for this event should you later decide you are unable to attend. While registration is not required it is highly recommended. Be sure to check SchooLinks often to view the most up to date schedule. A weekly schedule of visits will also be posted on the Daily Bulletin section of the school website.
Attention Seniors:
If you have dedicated your time to community service where it benefited the community in a significant way, come to guidance for a scholarship opportunity. To be considered for nomination, please submit your name and resume listing your volunteer community service by Thursday, October 15. If you choose, you can also submit a personal statement explaining the difference you have made in the community.
Attention Seniors:
If you are preparing for a teaching career and plan to attend a State University of New York or a two-year community college, you may be eligible for a scholarship opportunity. Please come to the Guidance Office by Friday, November 6 with a resume to be considered for nomination.

Attention Seniors: The University of Virginia offers the Jefferson Scholarship to students who excel academically and demonstrate exceptional potential in the areas of leadership, scholarship and engaged citizenship. If you are a first generation college-bound student and meet the criteria for the Jefferson Scholarship, UVA offers the Walentas Scholarship as well. For nomination consideration, come to the Counseling Center by Thursday, October 15th.
Attention Seniors: NC State University offers the Park Scholarship to eligible seniors who have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.8, are graduating from a high school located in the US (regardless of citizenship status) and apply for fall, first year admission into a baccalaureate program. For more information, come to the Guidance Office or access the application details through the Google Classroom. All application materials are due by November 1st.
